Vision is something that changes as we grow and age. This is especially so during our adolescent years. LASIK is a permanent procedure, however, our vision will continue to change over time and is best suited to those that are past these significant developmental years.

It is not recommended that women who are pregnant or nursing get LASIK surgery.
Hormones in pregnant or nursing mothers can cause changes to vision as well as the current optical prescription.
